Meet Lulu

By

We all dream of having a faithful companion. I’m fortunate enough to have two! In addition to my loving husband, Michael, I’m also blessed to have my cuddly Shih Tzu, Lulu.

Lulu has been by my side for three years. Even when I’m not around, she waits for me by the window, so she’s always one of the very first happy faces I see when I get home. If I’ve been gone long, that face in the window sure is a sight for sore eyes. At least she has her buddy (my two-year-old Goldendoodle), Gus, to keep her company when I’m gone. And y’all would not believe the big personality on Lulu. She’s not afraid to let you know what she does and does not like!

Being the picky eater she is, I knew I needed to create a pet food that Miss Lulu and all dogs, for that matter, would truly enjoy. Like her mama, she needs good tasting food that is good for her! With the good people at Hugs Pet Products, I was able to create something special that she can’t get enough of. Now I get to share that special something with my loving fans because I love y’all just as much!

With my new dog food line, Paula Deen’s Pet Collection from Hugs, your pampered pups can enjoy three premium flavors, Beef & Rice, Chicken & Rice, and Lamb & Rice. My sweet little Lulabell just loves the Lamb & Rice. She may be a lady, but you sure wouldn’t know it once that food hits her bowl. Your four-legged friends will love that my new line of pet food tastes so good, and you’ll love that it’s good for them. This calorie-controlled kibble is made with probiotics and plenty of other healthy ingredients that help maintain your canine companions’ digestive and immune systems.

My pet collection from Hugs is now available in my General Store, so be sure to pick some up for your sweetie pie today!

Paula Deen - As a young girl growing up in Albany, Georgia, Paula Deen never dreamed she would become an American icon. As a young mother, Paula was living the American dream — married to her high school sweetheart and raising two adorable boys — when tragedy struck. Her parents died, her marriage failed and she began a prolonged battle with agoraphobia. With her boys in their teens and her family near homelessness, Paula took her last $200, reached deep inside her soul and started The Bag Lady, a home-based catering company that marked the start of Deen's professional cooking career. With sons Jamie and Bobby delivering lunch-and-love-in-a-bag, beginning in June 1989, Paula turned her life around by sharing what she knew best, traditional Southern cooking.
