Every Thanksgiving, my family gathers ‘round the table before saying grace to share what we’re thankful for, and we’ve been blessed beyond our wildest hopes and dreams, so this is no short task. And because I’ve been thinking about Thanksgiving for weeks, I’ve already started thinkin’ about what I’m going to say this year.
Every single day I count the blessings that are my family and my grandboys. I’m so proud of Jamie and Bobby and the men they’ve become. I’m so thankful that they have met such beautiful and kind women to spend their lives with. I’m thankful that Michael and his children have entered my life and my heart. I can’t imagine what my life would be without them. And I’m thankful that I have nine beautiful grandbabies that help keep me young.
I’m also grateful for the opportunities in life I’ve been given. From a young woman with agoraphobia to a mama, guinny, and a business owner, I never would have imagined that I would be where I am today. Each day, I get to share my love of cooking good food with my friends across the world on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and through my shows and books. Knowing that I’ve been welcomed into so many homes warms my heart beyond measure.
And last but certainly not least, I’m thankful for all of you who take time out of your busy schedules to spend a little time with me. I would never be where I am today without your never-ending love and support. Your kind words, beautiful stories, and thoughtful gifts throughout the years have filled me with an unimaginable amount of joy.
